Kelly Cassidy

I am a trained, registered Medical Artist and practising member of the MAA. I began my career working within Bolton Hospital Medical Illustration Department for 5 years and now work as a Freelance Medical, Scientific and Contemporary Artist.

My areas of expertise are anatomical, clinical, conceptual & surgical illustration and I have been commissioned for a wide range of medical illustrative work, varying from anatomical illustrations for publications, to appearing on live broadcasting television programmes illustrating the human body’s digestive system.

I offer specialist artistic and graphic design skills to the medical profession with the presentation of their research and teaching information material for patient care, education and publications.

I produce full colour, half tone photo-realistic illustrations and line drawings either by traditional or digital methods. Traditional methods I use are gouache, watercolour, acrylic, pen and ink, charcoal, pencil and digital methods are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
