Emily Evans, BSc (Hons), PGCE, MMAA, RMIP

I have been working as a freelance medical artist for the last 4 years. I have been mainly working for medical publishers and medical individuals in the UK.

Following my degree in anatomy, I trained and worked as a secondary school science teacher in London. I then transferred these skills to teaching and tutoring anatomy and clinical skills at the medical schools of St. Georges, London and Cambridge University.

To be able to finally combine my two passions of art and anatomy whilst training with the MAA has given me the advantage of having a clear understanding of anatomy when working directly with surgeons and other medical professionals throughout my career so far.

I now work digitally and produce my artworks using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I enjoy the challenge of working with new clients and am always open to new suggestions and styles of artwork.
